On Monday, November 10th, homeschool families are invited to a special Open House Day at Historic Huguenot Street! Join us for a fun day filled with history, community building, and resources for you and your family. Attendees can visit a replica wigwam, tour the colonial Daniel (“Abraham”) Hasbrouck House, play colonial and modern era games, and make a craft to take home.
The Open House will take place from 10am-2pm, with free tours of the Daniel Hasbrouck House offered at 10:30am, 11:30am, and 1:00pm. All other educational activities and crafts will be set up for families to explore at their own pace.
Each participating family will also receive a coupon for 10% off at The Museum Shop located in the DuBois Fort at HHS, valid only on November 10th.
This event is intended to provide a local homeschooling families with a space to connect with each other. Chat with a librarian from Elting Memorial Library about additional resources!
Children's tickets (age 5-18) are $20 each, adults' tickets (18+) are $5 each, children under 5 years will be admitted for free. Children must be accompanied by their adult caretakers at all times.
