The beloved community tradition of Trick-or-Treat on Huguenot Street returns to New Paltz, Friday, October 31st from 3:30 – 5:30 PM. Children and families are welcome to gather on Huguenot Street and seek goodies from the residents of the historic homes, both past and present.
We are excited to be partnering with Marks Hotdogs for the third year in a row, as well as welcoming From the Ground Up Food Truck to the event.
Both businesses will be on site from 3:30 pm through 7:30 pm (the conclusion of the Halloween Parade After Party).
This event is free and open to the public.
Let us know you’re coming! Please RSVP so that we don’t run out of treats!
A portion of Huguenot Street will be closed to vehicular traffic during this event, from the 1799 (Ezekiel Elting) House (54 Huguenot Street) up to Mulberry Street. Broadhead Avenue will be closed from the Huguenot Street intersection, to the gravel parking lot. Please note that addresses located beyond the 10-acre National Historic Landmark District are private residences that may or may not be participating in the event. Please be respectful and considerate of our neighbors and their properties.
Children under the age of 14 must have adult supervision.
Dogs must be leashed at all times.
