“Shadows on the Screen: A Victorian Magic Lantern Show,” presented by Elliott and Schlemowitz

  • Historic Huguenot Street 81 Huguenot St New Paltz, NY, 12561 United States (map)

Experience a dark excursion through the Victorian psyche with a performance employing antique glass magic lantern slides and projection equipment. We will visit the era’s morbid imagery of temperance tales, cautionary moral lessons for children, the drama of death at the hands of the merciless sea, and other skits and stories.

If you would like more information on accessibility of the site, or assistance upon your arrival, please call us, Monday-Friday between the hours of 9 AM - 5 PM, prior to the date of the program, at (845) 255-1660.
