Historic Huguenot Street:  A Village Preserved

Historic Huguenot Street is a six-acre National Historic Landmark District that borders the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail and the shopping and dining of downtown New Paltz.  The site features six museum houses, a reconstructed 1717 stone church, an 18th century burying ground, a Visitor Center, exhibits, a picnic area, library and ample parking.  All museum houses and the Visitor Center, which is housed in the 1705 DuBois Fort, are preserved in the original settings.
