- Live like a colonial kid for just one night!
- Sleep on a straw mattress in a 300 year old building.
- Prepare and cook dinner over an open fire.
The evening will begin with preparing and cooking a colonial style dinner over an open fire. Participants will also play colonial games, create colonial crafts and get the chance to tour the houses at night, many of which are said to be haunted. The night will end with a camp-in on the floor of the DuBois Fort.
Ages 8-14.
Bring a sleeping bag, pajamas, and toothbrush. Food and
supplies provided. Advance registration required. Cost
is $32 HHS member, or $35 non-member.

Huguenot Street Family Programs
Have fun learning
about history in a program specially designed for children
ages 5-10 and their accompanying adults. Each session
will focus on a different site on Huguenot Street and
will include a historic craft activity. The Family Programs
are scheduled the third Saturday of each month, May through
October. Meet at the DuBois Fort Visitor Center. $5
per person

Locust Lawn Family Programs
Explore Locust Lawn in a program
specially designed for children ages 5-10 and their accompanying
adults. Each session will focus on a different building
on the historic farm property. The Family Programs at
Locust Lawn are scheduled for the first Sunday of each
month, June through October. $5 per person

Drop In Activities
Wednesdays
in August we will be running a drop-in activity for children
ages 5-10. This two hour program will involve a historic
craft activity and a related cooking project. Each session
will run from 9:30 am-11:30 am. The cost is $8 for HHS
members and $10 for non-members. Meet at Deyo Hall.
