Huguenots favored a cross that was distinctly different from the Roman Cross, with four arms of equal length and a pendant dove. The four arms and the spaces between them symbolize the Four Gospels, the Eight Beatitudes, and the Twelve Apostles, as well as purity and loyality. The dove represents the Holy Spirit and the Church under the Cross.
Our Huguenot Crosses were designed by Hudson Valley metalsmith Daniel Giessinger. They are cast to reveal many exquisite details on both the front and back sides, and make a wonderful personal keepsake or thoughtful gift for special occasions.
