Series Description: Minutes, agendas, reports, correspondence, and financial material relating to meetings of the HHS Board of Trustees. Records are filed chronologically.

CORRESPONDENCE (1937-1969, Bulk Dates: 1951-1998), 3 cu. ft., 3 boxes.
Series Description: General correspondence relating to publicity, membership, board meetings, collections, museum shop sales, internships, employment, traffic problems, genealogy, and other aspects of the organization. There is no correspondence for 1979. Records are filed chronologically.

INSURANCE RECORDS (1980-1995, Bulk dates: 1980-1991) .5, cu. ft., 1 box
Series Description: Policies, correspondence, receipts, and other materials chiefly relating to the insurance of HHS properties and collections. Records are filed chronologically.

LEGAL RECORDS (1894-2000) 2 cu. ft., 3 boxes. CONFIDENTIAL
Series Description: Contracts, agreements, deeds, wills, correspondence, financial records, and other records chiefly relating to HHS properties, lawsuits, and bequests and donations made by benefactors.

MEMBERSHIP RECORDS (1901-1925, 1956-1998), 1 cu. ft., 3 boxes
Series Description: Records kept by the Administrative Assistant relating to membership and dues and donations received by the Society. Records organized into two subseries. Folder are either arranged alphabetically by type of records or chronologically.

PERSONNEL RECORDS (1983-1998) .33 cu. ft., 1 box. CONFIDENTIAL
Series Description: Employee lists, some with payment and social security number information, resumes of job applicants, position acceptance agreements, terminations and evictions, workmen's compensation records, and health insurance information. Folders are filed alphabetically by type of records.

SCHOLARSHIPS (1995-1999) 1 cu. ft., 1 box CONFIDENTIAL
Series Description: Processed scholarships, both awarded and refused, filed alphabetically by name of applicant. Also includes some administrative files and scholarships of the Huguenot Society of America.

SUBJECT FILES (1964-2000) 2 cu. ft., 2 boxes
Series Description: Miscellaneous files kept by the general HHS office staff, including the Director, Assistant Director, and Office Manager. The records cover a variety of subjects, including events, committees, personnel, buildings & grounds, grants, tours, annual meetings, family associations, genealogy, collection brochures, and other related matters. Records are filed into series by creator. Folders are arranged alphabetically by subject. There are currently no records in the series from 1979-1996.
