Help Using This Website
Drop
Down Menu
Navigation is designed using a "drop down" menu. If you
find your browser doesn't display the menu, or if you
encounter problems with it, please use the Site Map instead
to navigate. There is a link to the Site Map at the top
and bottom of each page. Note to users of the Opera browser:
the drop down menu will float at upper left with no means
to access it. The Site Map or Search utility will provide
access for you.
Site
Map
The site map provides access from one page to all the
main pages on the site and indicates the main organization
of the site in outline form.
Search
Researchers will find our site's Search utility very useful.
Be sure to read the tips on the search page and try out
different selection combinations. Be mindful that some
names appear on every page, so if you search for the words
"Huguenot" or "Elting" or "Broadhead or "New Paltz", your
results will include every page on the site because the
page footer contains those words.
Return
to Top
Many of the pages are lengthy. Rather than having to scroll
back to the top, use the "Top Of Page" link at the bottom
right of every page to move quickly back to the top.
Return
to Home
The Historic Huguenot Street graphic at the top of every
page is also a link to the home page. There is also a
"Home" button on the top and link on the bottom of every
page.
