Slightly
muddy areas of cleared ground and shortened rock
piles at the work site stand in sharp contrast to
the orderly face of the wall, now the height of
the house's second floor ceiling. Though the second
floor windows have not been placed yet, the Jean
Hasbrouck House is regaining its original face –
a face not seen since the nineteenth century.
