Weeks of November 20-24 & November 27-December 1

Slightly muddy areas of cleared ground and shortened rock piles at the work site stand in sharp contrast to the orderly face of the wall, now the height of the house's second floor ceiling. Though the second floor windows have not been placed yet, the Jean Hasbrouck House is regaining its original face – a face not seen since the nineteenth century.

Week of November 13-17

The wall has reached the house's second floor level. The exterior face is now even and smooth. However, a shortage of suitable interior fill rocks will require the crew to obtain supplemental material. Many of the original fill stones are too small, a problem that may have contributed to the wall's bulging.
